The word Nigger has been used since the Revolutionary War:
meaning
1. a derogatory term for African Americans OR
2. a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior,ignorant, etc.3.a victim of prejudice similar to that suffered by blacks; aperson who is economically, politically, or sociallydisenfranchised. Definition 3 is not normallyconsidered disparaging—as in “The Irish are the niggers of Europe”from Roddy Doyle’s The Commitments —but the other uses areconsidered contemptuous and hostile.
That’s what she means. Women are still being regarded as inferior and economically, politically and socially disenfranchised.
