The guy on the 5 wasn’t exactly a champion of civil rights, either. He only freed the slaves to win the war.

Doesn’t American currency also say ‘In God We Trust’? Wait, how many of the founding fathers were atheist again? Hm, let me rephrase that. How many of them believed that politics and religion should be separated? Now answer me, how many atheists are there in America that depend on American currency?  …Uh, every single one? Does that mean we’re going to take ‘In God We Trust’ off our currency? What if George Washington owned slaves? His will emancipated them anyway. As abundant as slavery was in that time, it was the social norm. That’s a very ignorant argument to make. Just as well, Malcom X was rooted in the Black Panther party, a guerrilla warfare campaign that carried out several riots, and deaths in the name of minority equality. Malcom X was a black nationalist. His actions are no better than slave owning, when it was deemed politically correct. If you want racial equality, these arguments shouldn’t come into play. We’ve made it far enough into this fight to have a Kenyan president. Who, or what’s on the dollar bill is irrelevant.
