A Tumblr blogger's "Rant about Mexicans."

stfuracists:

Hey, Tumblr community, meet one of your neighbors…

im-perfectly-me:

They come into our country and take over our language. ESL? English is a SECOND language? Hell no. English is the FIRST language of America. If American’s went to Mexico, they would throw a pissy fit if we tried taking over Spanish with English. Why would we let you guys into our free country just so you can fuck it up again? America is full of dumb bitches being fucked up the ass. Some free country, I can’t even voice my own opinion at my school without being threatened to “get jumped”. Go to LA, those are real gangs. Not pussy ones in Salem, Oregon. Don’t get me wrong, not all Mexicans are like this. The majority of them are, though. I don’t care if you call me racist because everyone knows I am. I give props to the smart Mexicans, the non-“gang-bangers”, and so on, too, though. I’m fine if you speak it at your house or something but you shouldn’t be speaking it because you don’t know English. K. Have common sense.
Don’t get me wrong, I definitely don’t think Americans are any better. Take a look at this post for instance, it’s so horrible, intolerant, and racist. Every race has their flaw, no matter what.

You know it’s going to be good when a post it titled “rant about Mexicans.”

Another gross phenomenon besides the “I’m not racist but…” - the young, proud racist white girl. They’re all over Tumblr.

lol@english is the first language of america.

oh. okay.

To address my previous postings…

rafiki-town:

Yes, the Scottish people are inherently lazy, meaning not that they lack motivation, but that they would rather live quiet lives, but because of their tempers, generally fight a lot. I am Scottish. This was not meant as an insult.

I said “colour” on purpose. In England, where the English language originated, that is how it is spelled. Such as “favourite” and “honour”. I was spelling those correctly, it is our country that spells them incorrectly.

Yes my spiritual name is “Rafiki”. Why is it surprising that I would adorn the Swahili word for “friend”? Can’t cultures adopt from other cultures? They do it all the time. In fact the root of “Rafiki” comes from the Arabic language.

To answer your question, about cultures adopting from other cultures. No. They can’t. Sorry. Go be scottish.

I was not insulting African hair. I address that Africans do grow hair. However, the style in Africa is to shave the head. It gets really hot there.

Here is my official response to all of you who misinterpreted my text:

“You guys misunderstood my post. I didn’t say African people were born without hair. That would be the most ridiculous statement. I simply meant that the style there is to go without hair. I also wasn’t insulting African hair. I think it’s beautiful. I was simply saying that aesthetically, I do not prefer African dreads. Am I not allowed to have an opinion on that? This post was meant for those who get hostile and angry towards those who have dreads and are not of African descent.

As for my assertion that Scots are lazy. We are sooo lazy! My family is Scottish. Scotts prefer quiet lives when they aren’t defending their honour. You really think the men cared all that much about their hair?

Also, I was not trying to infer that dreads ORIGINATED with the Celts. I was simply relaying that the Celts had them. My reasoning for this statement was towards my original thesis: anyone can have dreads. It is not predominately from one culture. Many different cultures have dreaded their hair for a variety of reasons.

lol. You didn’t even read what you wrote! Your first post starts with:

Dreadlocks are originally a Celtic thing, especially the “neglect method” as the Scots are lazy when they’re not fighting.

Or maybe you don’t know what originally means, idk.

Yes. I know that Egypt is in Africa. Thank you for insulting my intelligence when you do not know me.

My name “Rafiki” is indeed from an African language, known as “Swahili”. The word, however has an Arabic root. As “Rafiki” is my spiritual name, I use both aspects in my spiritual workings.

So you wax poetically about your scottish roots but appropriate african and arabic themes and expect people to take you seriously? You doing it wrong, btw.

Also, my statement: “hair is hair is hair” was not meant to mean “all hair is the same.” Every single person out there has unique hair. I was meaning to convey that WE ALL HAVE HAIR, and that we should be allowed to do with it as we please. I think it’s silly that there are people who are openly hostile and angry towards those of non-African descent who have dreads. We all have hair. Any hair type can dread (even if some dread more easily than others), and let’s stop the hate!

Everyone who gets dreads, does so for personal reasons, and I believe that it is wrong to judge someone for having them simply because they are not of African descent.

Does that clear it up a little?”

Yeah, it clears up how clueless this whole thing is.
